The Honda CR-Z hybrid car, a sporty hybrid. Hybrids can be fun to drive.

2012 Honda CR-Z Hybrid

- A sporty hybrid, ideal for city driving, that offers great resale value

Updated March 29, 2012

A hybrid sport's car?

That's an oxymoron, right?

OK. The Honda CR-Z hybrid isn't really a hybrid sports car, it's a sporty hybrid.

What's the difference?

A hybrid sports car is built using hybrid technology to increase peformance, such as adding more torque -- without decreasing fuel economy.

A sporty hybrid, such as the CR-Z hybrid; however, is more like a conventional hybrid, but with a sporty design and better handling.

Sure, the CR-Z offers a little extra kick compared to other Honda hybrids, but that's not the goal.

The CR-Z hybrid is a fun to drive hybrid. A great urban commuter car. And, what other hybrid offers a manual option?

No. The CR-Z hybrid isn't a manual-only vehicle. That's just one option, but an option many prefer when it comes to small, sporty cars.

The 2012 Honda CR-Z hybrid is for drivers that want to have fun, while still doing their part to protect the environment and reduce foreign oil dependence.

Even sporty minded drivers can join the hybrid revolution!
