2012 Infiniti M35
Hybrid
- Nissan's first lithium-powered hybrid
- Starting at $54,575
- A luxury hybrid that proves performance hybrid isn't an oxymoron
Updated March 29, 2012
For years now, Nissan has been leasing Toyota hybrid technology for its hybrid cars; however, that stopped with the launch of the Infiniti M35 hybrid.
So, what makes Nissan's hybrids different?
Performance.
The Infiniti M35 hybrid is not a fuel miser, it's a hybrid that offers performance, but great fuel economy for that performance.
Ultimately, why buy a luxury vehicle if your goal is to be as fuel efficient as possible? It's just not very sensible. Like or not, but luxury requires more energy.
But that doesn't mean you can't have a quality luxury vehicle that still offers great fuel economy and a reduction in pollution and CO2 emissions, right?
And that's just what the M35 hybrid offers.
If you're in the market for a performance luxury car, but you don't want to be a total gas hog, then the 2012 Infiniti M35 hybrid might be what you seek.
